[Untitled] You have a Congress now controlled by socialists who paint the wealthy and those who made it as "evil" and "greedy." And the lazy give me everything for nothing crowd are simply innocent victims of the greed and should not be held accountable for often poor decisions but who are pandered to for votes which in the end only serves to perpetuate their slavery to the government. The whole Obama "share the wealth" mentality will ultimately lead to more misery then it will ever cure.

[Untitled] Depression Reality : NO QUARTER: The economy was recovering when FDR was talked into tightening the purse strings and there was a mini-recession as a result in the late 30’s but the economy still was better than at the start of the depression. Right wingers midleadingly use the data from that downturn to argue against government spending in order to defend their failed, fantasy based ideology that unregulated free markets are the answer to everything.

[Untitled] Sibby Online: Easy credit caused the problem: And that, say the central planners, is what necessitates perpetuating that failure. So addicted to credit is the economy that even when too much credit causes a catastrophic failure, the only solution is yet more credit.

[Revolution by the Book] The Tentacles of Oppression: Isaac Ontiveros on the Prison ...: If we can get a few more people some stable employment, some jobs, some food to eat, some breathing room, then those can be stronger people who can contribute towards pushing the struggle forward. If, within the framework of an issue-based campaign that speaks to the everyday needs of a large part of the community, we can build a movement, if we can assess and build our strength, if we can take the leadership of those most affected by this sort of oppression, if we can build momentum and claim some victories, we’ll be able to move forward, hopefully toward more revolutionary goals.

[Untitled] The Agitator » Blog Archive » Next Stop Is the Eastside Motel: The federal, state and local government in the US, like any large organization, is inherently inefficient and obsessively self-perpetuating. The police state has grown unbelievably powerful in my lifetime, thanks to the use of fear and disinformation.

[Untitled] The Remote Viewer » Blog Archive » AN AMERICAN TRAGEDY: Madoff’s investment firm ponzi scheme was incredibly unsophisticated. He was spectacularly successful at marketing his fund to the ultra-rich Jewish communities in New York and Florida as well as Europeans at ski competitions attended by the rich ruling elite.

[Untitled] Jay Hancock's blog: Cardinal Stafford: Obama is 'apocalyptic ...: The Catholic church is so vehemently and vocally opposed to abortions, but where is this same zeal in fighting against the many wars and conflicts and everyday violent acts taking place around the world that are taking away far more innocent lives everyday than abortion ever could? Where is the Church standing up to say yes we are against abortion, but we are equally against rape and murder being used as tools of subjugation and control in conflicts, children being enslaved as soldiers or prostitutes, the lack of comprehensive sex education and education on prevention of sexual abuse and violence so women don't have to get abortions, poverty and death caused by hunger and preventable illness, young men and women being sent into wars that didn't have to happen with inadequate protection in battle and inhumane treatment upon return, the death penalty and the execution of persons with mental disabilities, racial violence and genocide around the world, or any of the many other issues related not only to the right to actual life but the right to some quality of life?

[Untitled] Elecorn: The Animated Coder » Blog Archive » Concerning Proposition 8”¦: Slavery in the 1800’s jump started America’s economy. We could argue that this gave us immense benefits and helped us reach such a powerful point where we were able to help the rest of the world in the World Wars.

[Untitled] Reflections From Guest Speaker Darrell Cannon « Stateville Speaks ...: Jon Burge used torture tactics such as suffocation and even attaching electrical clips to men’s testicles to try to get them to confess. Another horrible torture tactic that Darrell Cannon described- a police officer loaded a gun (or made the sounds of loading a gun) and said they he would shoot Darrell Cannon if he did not confess.
