The 90-minute film starts with a nostalgic look at farming, extolling the virtues of the thousands of varieties of potatoes and corn grown in the US at the beginning of the 20th Century (97% have become extinct) and ending with corporations owning the patents on plant, animal and human genetic codes.

In general I agree with them that a general quantitative model of evolution is a pipe-dream. But I cannot follow their arguments about fitness.
