China has the liquidity others are craving, and with commodity prices low amid the economic slump, there is an opportunity to leverage Chinas cash to grab up resources across the globe at bargain-basement prices and on Chinese terms.[87] With Chinese bank regulators easing lending rules, cross border acquisitions are expected to continue at a rapid pace.[88]
