It was fascinating to hear Buchanan openly defend the tactics, including the Willie Horton ad and several other infamously racist appeals, as perfectly normal in politics. I've long since wondered why people like Buchanan are still given enormous airtime, but I suppose this one interview last night was so revealing that I'm glad he was on the airwaves for all to see.
