[Africabeat] I recently blogged about murmurings (i.e., blind quotes) suggesting that the U.S. Department of Defense was on the verge of deciding whether to set up an Africa command. I realize the debate's been going on at least since 2003 (according to "Militarizatoin of U.S. Africa Aid"), and has probably been somewhere on the table for much much longer.
