[News] Barack Obama, Joe Wilson & race cont”¦ - Telegraph Blogs: You state that a small minority of whites cannot except Obama because of his race..Ok, that’s a given, not unlike a minority of blacks disliking Reagan, Carter or Clinton, because they were white. So what to make of the great majority of voters that now oppose Obama and his policies, many of who voted for him?..How is one to concede that he has fucked up policy wise and shows little aptitude as a leader..Damn, damn, triple damn!!.So, what to do?….I’ve got it!!..

[Pacific Free Press RSS] Whose Economy Been Pulled Back from the Brink?: When you ask Obama “Why can't you bring to the discussion of the economy the same passion and fact-based arguments that you brought to the health care debate?”, I ask you what planet are you on to think that Obama has brought fact-based arguments into the health care debate when he makes deals with the health care insurance industry, leaving this useless and parasitic industry still in the picture, instead of getting the country to adopt a single payer plan (Medicare for all, even the young), which is where any honest review of the facts would lead anyone? What planet?

[Nealz Nuze] SO ... NOW WE ALL KNOW THIS IS JUST ABOUT OBAMA'S RACE - Nealz ...: If you want the allegations of racism to go away, here's a piece of advice: If you are at a teabag protest or town hall meeting, and see someone holding up a sign of Obama looking like a monkey, or some other overtly racist garbage, confront the idiot displaying the sign and inform him or her that he or she is not helping to advance the conservative cause.

[Politics Daily] Obama, on Anniversary of Wall Street Collapse, Kicks Up Drive to ...: Obama is pushing for comprehensive reform of how the financial institutions in the U.S. are regulated in order to stabilize financial markets and manage systemic risk. The widespread malfeasance, greed and fraud exhibited by many of the nation's top investment banks and financial institutions -- personified by Bernard Madoff's multi-billion-dollar Ponzi scheme -- have convinced the president and his top economic advisers that responsible governance entails more than just cheerleading the nascent recovery.

[The Swamp] Shimkus walked on Obama: 'Frustrated': The Swamp: I'll bet all it says is"status quo." Republicans have done such a retched job on the economy for the last 30 years, perpetrated two wars on the country, have bankrupted the US budget and allowed Wall Street to run amok and send the world economy to the brink. OK...let them have their say and it had better be pretty damned good and comprehensive.

[Enduring America] Video and Transcript: President Obama's Speech on The Economy (14 ...: It was also the result of decisions made by ordinary Americans to open credit cards and take on mortgages. And while there were many who took out loans they knew they couldn’t afford, there were also millions of Americans who signed contracts they didn’t fully understand offered by lenders who didn’t always tell the truth.

[Felix Salmon] Felix Salmon » Blog Archive » Obama likes financial innovation ...: If a bank approaches insolvency, we have a process through the FDIC that protects depositors and maintains confidence in the banking system. This process was created during the Great Depression when the failure of one bank led to runs on other banks, which in turn threatened the banking system.

[Hot Air » Top Picks] Hot Air » Blog Archive » Rasmussen: ObamaCare more unpopular than ever: If anyone wonders why the ObamaCare proposals have run into so much firm opposition, one only needs to look to this argument.  Democrats can’t understand why Americans don’t want government in charge of the most personal decisions in our lives, and therefore assume we’re all just a bunch of racists.  This argument fails to explain why the same idea was just as unpopular 16 years ago when the Clintons tried forcing it on the US.  More to the point, it insults the very people Democrats hope to convince.

[The After Party...featuring Pete Dengler and The Fu2rman | Blog Talk Radio Feed] Obama Care Speech: Add it all up, and the plan I'm proposing will cost around $900 billion over ten years - less than we have spent on the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, and less than the tax cuts for the wealthiest few Americans that Congress passed at the beginning of the previous administration.
